Le Burger Week 2014, A Recap.

Another year and another Le Burger Week has past. First off, we have to thank all of the restaurants who participated this year. We know how much hard work everyone puts into this event and we couldn’t be more grateful.  Also, a huge thank you is owed to you the participants! The whole point of Le Burger Week is for Winnipeg’s food lovin folk to get out and enjoy some new spots they may not have tried yet and of course revisit some old favourites. We appreciate your commitment and your appetites! As well, a huge shout out to Half Pints Brew Co. for sponsoring Le Burger Week Winnipeg this year and for supplying not one but TWO gift certificates for keg rentals. We hope the winners enjoy their prize and remind them to drink responsibly! Last but not least congratulations to NuBurger, Bernstein’s Deli, and to Shawarma Khan for receiving the most votes this year! We are very proud of Winnipeg’s dedication to this event and their participation shows how much they truly love their burgers.

Our Le Burger Week is always busy but we try and make time to enjoy as many as we can. This year we capped it off with a little tour that truly summed up the spirit of Le Burger Week. It was an evening filled with friends sharing laughs over cocktails and delicious food; moreover it was a celebration of the culinary greatness Winnipeg has to offer. Thank you again Winnipeg, we are already looking forward to next year but for now we are going to go have a self-proclaimed salad week. Stay tuned for more culinary events and for all of the who’s, what’s, when’s where’s and why’s of your city. As always Much Love from the Charcoal Collaborative. Ps see you at The Poutine Cup!
